When its hit -45Cº no matter how quick it warms up outside, I won't bother trying to fire up the equipment. That means getting firewood the old fashion way.

Productive day on the farm... ferments are coming along, im building a new counter with a ferment cupboard. We did some meal prep, marinated some moose cubes for meals this week, made homemade ketchup , roasted garlic and made a batch of delicious tomato/feta soup... i added the lights and fans on my sunny shelves so when we plant our seeds they get a little extra boost :)

Well, shoveling snow at -30Cº is a thing this winter. There's an easy 3.5 feet of snow on the old roof section of the farm house that needed shoveling. With another 12cm projected in the next 24 hours there was no way I could let it build up further... at least the view was 🔥 and the sun was out(get that vitamin D) 😆
