That’s why you should NEVER keep just one horse by itself! Horses are herd animals.
Horses need physical contact and groom each other. It strengthens social bonds, reduces stress and reinforces the herd hierarchy. Nibbling each other lowers heart rate and releases feel good endorphins. It’s like a “horsey hug” that fosters trust. 🩵🐴🩵

Another amazing weekend at this years Horse Expo in Red Deer the books. Did some shopping, watched clinics, Horse Trainer competition and most importantly spent precious time with my SVST besties.
