We've been busy stocking the pantry for our lunches this winter! I've sorted through my jars and I could use 500 ml canning jars and standard rings if anyone has a stash in their cellar they wont be using. I do have seals and I have a million 250ml jam jars.(Id even trade if someone can use them, they just arent big enough for what I'm doing)

We had a little production interuption while Anita decided to rebuild and change the grease on her 30 quart mixer.
It seems to have been put together satisfactorily so well get mixing and baking and cooking again so we'll be already for Thursday.

Nothing like the Civic Holiday weekend to remind us how quickly summer is going and fall is approaching.
If you're thinking ahead to fall meals and filling your freezer nows a good time to get your 10 pound boxes of chicken pieces or put some whole roasting chickens away for the days we aren't refusing to use the oven.In the meantime we have lots of grill friendly chicken too.
