Sulphites sometimes get a bad reputation, but they play an important role in helping keep wine fresh, stable, and tasting its best.

One of the coolest ways we’ve had customers bottle their wine? …Putting it in a keg! 🍷🍺✨

Using a beer keg, like a stainless steel Cornelius keg, is a great way to store wine because it keeps out light, prevents oxygen exposure, and avoids cork taint. Plus, it saves a TON of time compared to cleaning, sanitizing, and corking dozens of bottles 🙌

Even better? An unopened, pressurized wine keg can last 6–12 months, and once tapped, the wine stays fresh for weeks!

Perfect for parties, weddings, watch parties, cottage weekends, BBQs, and big family get togethers 🍷🎉

Who else would love wine on tap? 👀

🚗This message is for everyone visiting or travelling through the Bruce Peninsula this season.

🚧There are a number of active construction projects across the region that will impact travel times. Please plan ahead, allow extra time, and avoid last-minute travel to scheduled tours, ferry departures, or park visits—especially if you are booked on the MS Chi-Cheemaun or heading to Bruce Peninsula National Park.

Please be aware of the following 2026 construction projects:
• Ministry of Transportation Highway 6 (Bruce Road 9 / Ferndale to Lindsay Road 20) – May to December 2026
• Ministry of Transportation Highway 6 (Jenny Street to Isaac Lake Road) – mid-June to July 31, 2026
• South Bruce Peninsula – Berford Street (Highway 6) in Wiarton (George Street to Elm Street) – June to December 2026
• Bruce County Bruce Road 9 – Cameron Road to Cemetery Road – August to September 2026

These projects may result in reduced lanes, delays, and detours throughout peak tourism season. You can follow https://www.municipal511.ca/ and https://511on.ca/ for official road updates, closures, and detours.

A reminder that there is no gas station in Wiarton ❗️Please plan ahead and fuel up in Hepworth, Sauble Beach, or check nearby communities for available services before travelling north.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation, and please travel safely while enjoying the Bruce Peninsula this season.

Camping season is kicking off and summer is right around the corner ☀️🏕️

That means BBQs, campfires, cottage weekends, patio nights, and making memories with friends and family!

Enjoy your wine, beer, cider, and cocktails but always remember: don’t drink and drive. Plan ahead, call a ride, stay over, or have a designated driver so everyone gets home safe ❤️

Good drinks are better when everyone makes it home safely. Cheers to a fun and responsible season! 🍷🍺🔥

Thinking about ordering a batch of wine but don’t want a shelf full of bottles? 🍷Why not bag your batch instead?

We offer reusable wine bags in 3L, 4L, 5L, and 10L sizes, making them a super convenient option for enjoying your wine at home or on the go.

Why we love bagged wine:
🍷 Takes up less space in the fridge or pantry
🍷 Easy pour spout = no corkscrew needed
🍷 Great for camping, cottages, BBQs, and road trips
🍷 Keeps things simple and convenient
🍷 Reusable and easy to refill

We personally love doing half bottles and half bags for the best of both worlds!

With summer and camping season right around the corner, this is your sign to give bagged wine a try and get your next batch ready for all your adventures ☀️🚐🍷

Why Craft Your Own Wine? 🍷

Cost Savings Compared to the Liquor Store: You can enjoy premium-quality wine at a fraction of the retail price. Crafting your own batch allows you to get more bottles for your budget—perfect for entertaining, gifting, or simply stocking up your personal collection.

Support Local Business: When you craft your wine with a local craft winemaking shop, you’re supporting small business in your community. It’s a great way to shop local while enjoying a personalized experience.

A Simple, Guided Process: No experience? No problem. The process is straightforward and we handle everything for you, making it easy and enjoyable from start to finish.

Wide Variety of Wine Options: From bold reds to crisp whites and refreshing rosés, there’s something for every palate. You can explore different regions, styles, and flavour profiles all in one place.

Eco-Friendly Choice: Crafting your own wine involves reusing bottles and reducing packaging waste, making it a more sustainable option compared to buying new bottles each time.

Consistent, Reliable Quality: Each batch is crafted to ensure consistent flavour and quality. You get the confidence of a great-tasting wine every time.

No Equipment Needed at Home: Skip the hassle and expense of buying bulky winemaking equipment. Everything is handled for you, so you can enjoy the process without the mess or storage concerns.

Control Over Preservatives: Have preferences or sensitivities? Crafting your own wine allows for more control over what goes into your batch, including preservative levels.

Faster Than Homemade Wine: Traditional home winemaking can take months (or even years) to age properly. With professional crafting, your wine is ready much sooner—without sacrificing quality.

Personal Satisfaction: There’s nothing quite like pouring a glass of wine you crafted yourself. It adds a personal touch to every sip and makes sharing with friends and family even more special.
