altours.ca). Esson Creek Maple Syrup since 2016 - sap flows in a vacuum system from 2300 tapped sugar maples to the Sugarhouse. Sap is processed initially through a reverse osmosis (RO) unit and then to a wood-fired evaporator where it is finished into beautiful maple syrup. The syrup is filtered and packaged onsite and is available for purchase along with other maple syrup products. The preserved land at Esson Creek Maple & Greenmantle Mineral Tours is so rich in minerals that we think it gives some of the best tasting maple syrup.
