With the downsize I still wanted to be breeding the one of age doe Ill have left, she was born last October and just hasn’t been wanting bred but we finally got a breeding done today after she’s been so stubborn and won’t lift we got 2 fall offs today! Will try for more throughout the week.

These 3 will be the only New Zealand’s in our shed in about a month. We have decided to downsize due to how busy life has been, I feel I’m not giving them what they deserve.

This decision hasn’t been made easy. Been going back and forth for a bit if I want to keep them all or just a few. I personally think just a few will be what I need right now.

For anyone wanting babies from my lines they will be going to Krystal Van De Reep in Hixton BC as she bought some “pets” back in January and has fell in love with the breed, she bought more from me last month and can’t get enough of them. She will be breeding to ARBA standard and bettering the breed just as we were here at Hilltop Rabbitry.

We will still be breeding and bettering the breed just won’t be showing as much nor selling. I’m hoping downsizing will bring the joy back as this year has thrown so many curve balls. Benji and Bandit will still stay since they’re pets.

These two went off to their new home yesterday as a breed pair for a young girl starting out with rabbits! Couldn’t be more happy to get people set up with ideal breeding pairs to jump start their program!

Anyone else notice their REWs are super friendly and curious? Mine are always the most friendly out of the litters even without handling daily I love it!
