It’s that time! Babies are 3 weeks old so nest boxes got tipped! My favourite stage they’re so cute and curious. Going to start practicing posing to get them used to and make it easier when they are older!

This broken blue is soo cute! Can’t wait to see how it grows up.

Benji is digging his lifestyle of being spoiled I’d say!

His permanent cage is in the works, just waiting for some things in the mail. He enjoys sun bathing and throwing his toys around. He especially enjoys “digging” and nibbling on me when I hold him. He’s gotten used to the cats and dogs inside which is always nice! Still undecided if he will go out into the shed this summer or just stay inside.

Haven’t regretted this choice once since he came home I couldn’t be happier with him. 🤞🏼🤞🏼 he grows up nicely and does well at shows ☺️💕

NFS he is a pet. Nor will I have any FS in the future for those inquiring.

Well it’s about that time the nest boxes either get tipped on the side or removed as babies are starting to venture out....

In your rabbitry what do you do when babies start to venture out?

This baby blue has been out the past few days hanging with Mom when I go into the shed and the broken momma had two babies out yesterday getting some extra milk 🤣💞 2 weeks old and everyone is doing good. Sadly we lost a steel and broken but momma had 11 and things happen.

We will be attempting our second round of baby’s here soon to take advantage of this wonderful weather.

Pairings will be - Tweaks (REW) x Onyx (black)
- Blue 1 x Felix (broken black)
- Blue 2 x Onyx

Spent the day in the rabbit shed cleaning and reorganizing everything and everyone. Have alot of empty cages which I love makes it easy to switch rabbits around if needed. Also makes me a lot less anxious over having them all full.

Total baby count is 15.
6 broken black. 1 broken blue. 4REW. 2 Black. 1 blue. 1 steel.
Will be attempting breedings with our 2 blue does and our REW for end of May litters.🤞🏼 they catch and are good moms as the blues will be first timers.

Did some baby checks this morning!

Monarchs are looking healthy and chunky especially since there’s only 5!
Ravens are looking good, less chunky and more dirty but hey she had 10 give her a break 😅 I will be emptying nest box and cleaning it out later today I just put fresh straw and shavings to dry them up a bit while doing chores quick. Mommas gotta stop peeing around or in the nest box.

Sadly our white momma didn’t catch this go around so we will be rebreeding in a few weeks when we attempt breeding with our blue does! 🤞🏼 she’ll catch then.

Babies are doing good! Raven lost 1 broken black seemed to be a runt but hey she had 11 so 1 loss isn’t too bad. I see possibly 2 solid steels again but may turn out to be blacks will give them a bit and see!

Monarchs babies are doing well, all the brokens have amazing face and body markings I’m excited to see how they grow up as we need some more brokens in our rabbitry.
