Cheaper than grocery store prices for amazing slow grown meat. Bacon included, no hams this time.

After a multi day, monumental effort, we got one of our large silvipastures fencing finished yesterday. 3000 feet of fence line, 15000 feet of barbed wire. This pen will eventually be broken down and cross fenced into smaller pens, but the animals have to do their work first.

We’ve got one more large pen to fence but we’re going to take a break for a while. My hands don’t want to keep putting in fence staples.

Teach your kids where their food comes from.

Yesterday we processed 106 meat birds. They dressed out between 5lbs and nearly 9lbs, with the average just over 6lbs. The perfect size. We are so happy with how they turned out. We changed up how we fed them this time and these are the nicest birds we’ve ever raised.
$5.50/lb.
