It’s a cool rainy morning here on the ranch.
I have one half yak available that will be ready in November.
It is 212 lbs hanging weight for $2014
This includes basic cut and wrap (cut list not completed yet due by Monday )
Deposit due upon cut sheet and remainder in November upon pick up

I am still continuing the sale price on this half as it will be one of the last two halves available before spring 2027.
Also have a beautiful golden hide available salted for pick up. It has some slight rub marks on the back but the golden hides are far too beautiful to throw out so if someone wants a tanning project please pm.

She is pending thanks everyone

Meet Millie everyone! Mille is a beautiful 3 year old jersey cow that I picked up this spring for raising a yak baby that needed a mom. She is an excellent mom LOVES Calves and loves her scratches. She is halter broke and you can handle her like a horse. You can hand milk her anywhere, machine milk her or I believe she would take any calf easily. I don’t have a stall most times I just walk up and hand milk her or just halter and tie to a fence. No chute or stall required. She is a lower milk production cow in my experience she would be good with two calves or one calf and house share. I also do not supplement her with extra grain as she is always on pasture and isn’t milked hard. When I have grained her she did increase.
Freshened in spring
Very high cream content
Exposed to yak bull and possibly bred but not selling as bred
She is A2A2
I love her but have no other beef here to pen her with. She is very bonded with the yak cows she has now but with the whole herd coming home for winter feeding, it is too risky to pen her with them for the winter and unfortunately don’t have enough pens. Her new milk machine could also be included for extra, only used a couple times.

Group of five yak heifers available to eastern Canada leaving mid October. This is my most affordable group available I do have woolier heifers available as well.
These heifers are all from proven stock in a well culled herd. They are also all from chocolate/golden coloured cows except one and some are also from a white sire. These girls have great minds and great genetics behind them. Easier to handle than cattle they will be available mid October after they have completed their weanling and handling. Can supply an unrelated bull as well to go with them.
