Exciting news, i have my first peacocks officially ! Got 8 eggs from an amazing friend and 7 hatched ( wish all eggs hatched with such amazing hatch rates ) but I am so incredibly excited to whatch these babies grow, I’ve never had a peacock before so it’s all new for me and so far im in love, the pied one is my favourite for sure, stay tuned to whatch these guys mature peacock males take up to 3 years to get there iconic tail feathers and up to 5-6 years before they are fully mature, they also can live til they are 50 years old so these guys are here for the long run !

Well my egg stand has quickly been upgraded My amazing grandpa decided my egg stand wasn’t big enough so he built me an egg “store” and delivered it to my house for me, what an awesome birthday present! I can’t even begin to express how lucky I am, my family always goes above and beyond! Still working on signage but hopefully by next week that will be done and I can start too stock the new egg “store” regularly, as for right now if you want eggs I can still put them out and you can pickup whenever is convenient for you, also getting my camera next week hopefully as well. And do not worry my moms adorable stand will now be converted into a breeding coop for our old English bantams, nothing goes to waste around here 😉

Some GORGEOUS hatching eggs I purchased from a friend going into the incubator i seriously cannot wait for these babies to hatch and lay me some gorgeous coloured eggs i had some of my coloured egg layers go missing and other ones are getting old so it’s about time i added some new rainbow layers to the flock, stay tuned.

More Muscovy ducklings have arrived, around 20 of them, these were stragglers I stuck into the incubator as there mom was already moving on with the rest of the hatch, most of the are spoken for but I have about 5 left if anyone wants some comment or dm me
