Preparations are underway at the Old Blue Truck Farm for the 2026 season. The raspberries have been pruned and thinned, the orchard rows cleaned up and the greenhouse beds prepped and ready for planting out the tomatoes, melons and peppers starts.
This year we will again be focusing on root vegetables like garlic, carrots, potatoes and onions as our primary produce for sale. This means, the farm stand will remain fairly empty until around July when some of these items are ready for harvest. If you are looking for bags of minerals, they are always available, and if none are in the farm stand, send us a message and we'll arrange to get you some.
An interesting event at OBTF saw some Canada Geese deciding that our beds were are good place for a fight last week. Thankfully, no geese were harmed, but one did fly away.
We hope you will visit us at OBTF and pick up some yummy produce. Cheers.

We have lots of tomatoes for sale in the Farmstand.
You'll also find some odd shaped sweet peppers, bags of colored carrots, a variety of garlic, and bags of beautiful purple potatoes. Just in time for Thanksgiving mashed potatoes.

Old blues final fall harvest

Come stop by the farm stand to grab some of our fall harvest!

You will find

- Purple carrots: Two varieties of our nutrient dense carrots are available

- Purple potatoes

- Old Blue garlic

All of the produce will store really well in cold dark places!

Farm stand is an honour system so come by and bring cash or through e-transfer
