Fertility was great for cold February eggs! I was expecting poor rates because I don’t collect until after I’m home from work every day. But 17/19 started to develop and 16 are still going strong!

Update on the chick situation with Henrietta and Hennifer!

All the chicks are alive and well. They’ve done a fantastic job with such an impressive brood. I actually crossed my fingers and gave them 2 more (much younger) chicks last week when another hen rejected them. Took the day-olds on with no fuss at all!
