Not every part of farm life is muddy boots and flowers

Some of it looks like this — late nights, editing diagrams, and turning the things we build here on the farm into something others can use too.

Behind the scenes we’ve been working on DIY Chicken Tractor Plans for Beginners — breaking down the exact tractor design we use here so anyone can build one themselves. Simple materials, beginner-friendly steps, and something sturdy enough to keep chickens safe while they help improve pasture.

Between planting seedlings, tending the greenhouse, and chasing kids around the yard, we’ve been slowly putting this together piece by piece.

Because around here we believe farms should share knowledge, not gatekeep it.
If you've ever thought about raising chickens or adding a tractor to your setup, this guide will walk you through it.

More to come soon from Roost N Run.

Can we take a leap into the wild world of ponds for a sec and figure out the magic formula for making them ridiculously healthy? What crazy strategies do you use to keep your pond from turning into a swampy mess?

We've been draining ours every three days, using the water to irrigate our field, and then refilling it with fresh water. But honestly, it's insane how fast it bounces back, and I'm dying to know some new tricks to stay on top of it.

Do you use pumps for filtration, harness the power of pond plants, or maybe even consider upgrading to a bigger pond?
