Feeling very thankful and wanted to share some thoughts today! 🤎🍂

My first Thanksgiving at The Wild Nest and I've been thinking about just how much I have to be grateful for:

😊 This little shop and the opportunity to bring something to our community that feels so aligned with who I am.

🤎 Every single person who's walked through the door, shared a kind word, told a friend about us, or chosen to spend their hard earned money here.

🌿 The friendships, connections, and sense of community that have grown out of this little space since January.

🥕 The incredible farmers, makers, families, and entrepreneurs behind so many of the products on our shelves. Knowing where our food and products come from matters and I'm so grateful to have access to so many wonderful local offerings made with care.

💕 My family and friends, who have supported me through all the ups, downs, and everything in between.

✨ A body that allows me to experience this life. To move, to grow, to feel, and to keep learning how to care for myself physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Wishing you a beautiful long weekend, whatever it looks like for you! 🤎 I hope you find a little time to appreciate the good things in your life, big or small.

A little seasonal shift to our hours this month: we’re heading back to a 10am opening Tuesday–Saturday!

Tuesday–Thursday • 10–4:30
Friday • 10–4
Saturday • 10–2

& one little switch-up... we’ll be closing at 1pm on Saturday, October 10th so my son and I can head off to the events! 🏃‍♀️🍂 Anyone else going?! 👀

Heads up! 🎬 This may affect your ability to visit us tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept 29th, so just something to keep in mind if you’re planning to pop by! We will be OPEN and excited to maybe see some of the action! 🪺

How fun! 🤩 Sullivan's Crossing is a great show, if you haven’t watched it yet, definitely check it out! 🤎

Sullivan’s Crossing will be filming on Gerrish Street, at Tatum’s Bridal Fashions, on Tuesday, October 29. The production team began arriving over the weekend to start set design and preparations.

SCHEDULE

Sunday, September 27
• Trucks and trailers park at the Hants Aquatic Centre lot.
• Base camp will be located at the Windsor Curling Club.

Monday, September 28
• Crew will be downtown preparing for interior and exterior filming.
• Smaller tech trucks will be parking in the lot behind Pharmasave and Tatum’s.
• There will be some larger trucks parked on Water Street, across from the Waterfront Mall.

Tuesday, September 29
• 6:00 am – Crew will begin arriving on Gerrish Street
• 7:00–9:00 am – Intermittent traffic stoppages will be implemented on Water Street and Gerrish Street.
• Traffic will be temporarily held for short periods, rather than rerouted, with a maximum stoppage of three minutes.
• The first scene filmed will be on the sidewalk at the corner of Water and Gerrish Streets.
• Exterior filming will conclude at 9:00 am. Filming will continue inside Tatum’s Bridal Fashions until the end of day.
• Filming will conclude early evening.

Thursday, October 1 - Crew will return for final clean-up.

Thank you to residents, businesses, and visitors for your patience and cooperation while filming takes place in downtown Windsor.
