BeeLoved Honey BeeLoved Honey I started Beeloved Honey in 2011 after my first year in beekeeping. I hope 2012 will be as exciting as 2011 as I plan to triple my production.

When I started I was very unfamiliar with the entire process, but
I have become fascinated with all aspects of beekeeping and look
forward to learning more and expanding. I harvested more than 225 lbs of honey last year from my two hives
and sold it within a couple months. My honey last year was a mix of canola and wildflower which seemed to
be a golden combo, as my customers were thrilled with

it. My mentor in beekeeping even encouraged me to enter the Manitoba Honey Show, which I did just for the fun of it, and I came away with a 1st in the beginner class and tied for 1st in the creamed honey class! Thanks to all my customers from last year - hope to bring you outstanding honey
in 2012!

First extraction of the season!
This year was a tough one, it was so rainy and windy in spring for so long, the bees were actually starving because they could not get out and bring in resources.
But I’m praising the Lord that the hives are all doing well - mid-summer I thought I would lose a couple, and I was actually able to split two, so I went from 3 hives to 5.
The yield will be small this year due to their early setbacks, so I will only have a limited supply of honey available - I would recommend getting your orders in now, as it won’t last long.
This week only (until August 24th) I’m offering liquid honey - it will likely stay liquid for another 2-3 weeks before it crystallizes, but in 3 weeks most people have burned through a jar anyway lol
