Floodway Gardens is a U-Pick vegetable farm that has been serving the Winnipeg area for over 42 years. Our vegetables are grown naturally with no chemical additives in healthy, productive soil.

Thank you all so much for the retirement well wishes. Your kind words are very appreciated.

Some were asking what happens to the land that the garden was on. I owned half of the land and my neighbour owned half. I had rented it from him for the past 26 years. We are both retiring this year and the land will be divided into 2 building lots, one lot owned by my neighbour and one owned by me. My wife's relative will be buying my lot and plan to build a house on it this summer.

It has been a difficult decision but there will be no garden for 2026. It is time to retire. After 50 years of growing vegetables, Floodway Gardens is closing. We had so many wonderful customers over the years and I will truly miss the interactions. Thank you all so much for coming and I hope you all have a great summer.
