Things are a little crazy right now in the world.. so taking a little time to reflect on a beautiful day from a few weeks back when I was surrounded by family and friends who showered our baby girl with love ❤️! Meet Chewie! These cakes always stress me out so much to make and I have so many doubts along the way if it’s looking like what it’s supposed to look like and then all of a sudden they come together (and to life) and it’s the best feeling! I literally giggled out loud when I added his little bandana (a last minute addition due to me knowing the cake recipient is a big bomber fan and of course to celebrate the Grey Cup win!). Surprise! We’re having a baby! I’ve kept this under wraps for a while now (I’ll be 20 weeks this week), and having finally found out last night that we are having a girl (this is a dream come true for me!), I thought it was time to finally share! So cake wise, I have slowed down on orders I am taking until baby is born which means 2019 is fully booked and I am booking a little bit again starting in July 2020. So if you are hoping to work with me for your wedding next summer, please contact me sooner rather than later as dates are already filling up fast!
