The Eureka Moment: How One Upstream target can influence multiple downstream health conditions.

My First Record at 10: The 1961 “Big John” Mix-Up! 🎶

Back in 1961, I was a 10-year-old kid named John with one big mission: get my very first record. Rock and roll was just getting rolling, and there was this song called “Big Bad John” — macho, dramatic, and perfect for a little guy named John. So I told my mom exactly what to buy.

She came home with a 45. I was pumped. I dropped the needle… and nope. Wrong record. She’d grabbed “Big John” — the other one. Not the Jimmy Dean classic. Not the song I wanted. The wrong John. 😂

Mom, being a champion, took it back and swapped it for the real deal. “Big Bad John.” Happy kid. First record. Problem solved.

That’s the story: a 45 RPM time capsule, a mom on a mission, and a 10-year-old who just wanted the right song.

The Hill Doesn't Care How Old You Are.

Uphill is hard. Downhill is hard. Standing still is a guarantee of decline. There's no easy route. There's only the route you take or the route you avoid.
