Meet the Makers 🧀✨

Say hello to Sean Myles & Gina Haverstock, co founders and co owners of Annapolis Fine Cheese!

Since starting Annapolis in September 2022, Sean and Gina have been dedicated to crafting premium cheeses using local Nova Scotia milk right here in the Annapolis Valley.

Q: Favourite Annapolis cheese and why?
A: We love the Original flavour of the Artisanal Fresh Cheese for its versatility. Put it in your scrambled eggs or enjoy a spoonful on a date. We always have some of this in our fridge.

Q: Personal detail or fun fact:
A: We love travelling by bicycle. We have cycled over 3,000 km through Europe together!

Q: What do you love about working at Annapolis Fine Cheese or living in Nova Scotia?
A: We live in Wolfville and love being surrounded by Annapolis Valley farms. Having the opportunity to turn our local milk into premium cheeses is a privilege and a joy!

From the very beginning, Sean and Gina have built Annapolis Fine Cheese around quality, community, and a deep love for the Annapolis Valley.

Watch for our next Meet the Makers post as we continue sharing the stories of the people behind the cheese 🧀

If you haven’t had the chance to stop by Luke’s Small Goods, this is your sign 🥪

They’re making some of the best sandwiches in Halifax, and we’re thrilled to see our cheese behind the counter.

If you’re in the city, grab a sandwich, then swing by the pantry for their house-made bread or a fresh baguette and everything you need to make some great bites at home!
