Ship’s Lobster Pound (2005) Limited in Woods Harbour is looking for a dedicated and motivated Accounting Clerk to add to our team. In this role you will play a vital part in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in our day-to-day accounting. Proficiency in Sage Accounting and Microsoft Excel is required for this role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using these programs in addition to an Accounting diploma or degree.

Accounting Clerk
Ship’s Lobster Pound (2005) Limited is now accepting applications to fill the role of Accounting Clerk.
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for a broad range of accounting tasks, including but not limited to the maintenance of the Payables ledger, Payroll, reconciliations of bank accounts, HST returns. The Accounting Clerk will also assist in performing tasks related to employee benefit programs and settlement of fishers.
The ideal candidate would have an accounting diploma or degree, a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in accounting, sound understanding of financial and accounting practices and principals, and a knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel spreadsheets and familiarity with Sage accounting software.
