Please note we will be taking a break next week and so our on-farm shoppe will be closed Wednesday July 22 to Saturday July 25. We also won’t be at market on July 25. See you tomorrow at the market or farm to help you stock up on all your favourites!

Dear customers, please note the store will be closed today because of a downed hydro pole by the edge of our property. Wires are hanging directly over our driveway and the road has been closed by police order until it is fixed. No word yet on how long that will be. Hopefully we will be up and running again tomorrow!

Store hours this week will be a little different: Thursday and Saturday regular hours noon to 4pm. Friday we are closing at 3pm so we can celebrate a wedding with family.

While moving the cattle yesterday afternoon I almost didn’t see this grey tree frog. Found a way to hide on the aluminum gate.

An exciting day on the farm to see the culmination of a year and half long project to establish a wetland on our farm. Digging, seeding, fencing and now planting. A big thank you to Ducks Unlimited and the Grand River Conservation Authority for the funding assistance and helping us navigate every piece of this project. Looking forward to many relaxing moments enjoying the wonders of nature in our own backyard.
