Lloyd Alyea & Sons Ltd., located south of Woodstock, is seeking a responsible and experienced equipment operator to join our grain crop and custom work operation immediately on a full-time basis.
We provide tillage, planting, spraying, harvesting, haying, and off-field trucking services.
Requirements/Details:
- G licence and own transportation required
- Experience with hay equipment and/or grain cart operation preferred
- Mechanically inclined- we do most of our own repairs
- The right candidate will be motivated to complete assigned tasks either alone or working alongside other employees
- Attention to detail when driving/repairing/maintaining equipment and completing necessary recordkeeping notes is expected
- Long hours are required during busy times but weekends off as much as possible, especially in winter
- Competitive wage depending on experience
- AZ licence and/or self propelled sprayer experience would be a bonus
- Depending on qualifications, we could consider part-time applications
