📢FRIENDS, NEIGHBOURS & ALL PARK VISITORS: LET'S RIDE FOR FAIRNESS! 📢
This Sunday, July 19th, our annual Regatta ATV Parade isn't just a celebration of our strong ATV culture, this year it is a peaceful protest for equal rights and fair treatment in our own backyard.
For too long, Bonne Bay South has faced inconsistent and discriminatory ATV enforcement and we refuse to sit back and watch our friends, neighbours, and visitors get tickets and fines.
Why are residents in many other park communities permitted to ride ATV from their properties to access traditional lands, while we face targeted fines, roadblocks, and court dates?
Why are visitors targeted with tickets just because they want to come and visit our communities on their ATV'S?
We all deserve the exact same rights, and visitors to our region deserve equal fairness.
So with the support of our communities and the Bonne Bay South Fire Department, we are taking to the road this Sunday to show Parks Canada what a safe, unified, and organized community looks like.
LET'S RIDE TOGETHER, MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD AND STAND UNITED.
