First week of Ranchin' is in the books. Lovin the outdoor work. We did some water repair and got a fence built and got some bales back to the ranch. Went down to Shaunavon to pick up some processed beef product from Cory Audette at Ranchouse Meat Company and got it put in the freezer for sale right on the ranch. If you have never been to Ranchouse Meats in Shaunavon you are missing a real gem of a shop. Great display of top quality product in a real nice clean front end and all offered at great prices. Cooler day today so it's a good day for a little heavier lunch. Here's a baron of beef for the lunch special today. I did this one up with onion rings but you can get it with a nice hot bowl of beef noodle soup if it suits you better. Side of mandarin almond slaw just because I can. Enjoy your day friends.

Thinking about my friends Jeremy and Kristine at Quarter N Smokehouse tonight. We have been friends forever and we share thae values of great food. I wanted to give the breakfast patties a test the other night so I cooked them over open flame on the BBQ. No flare ups no fires just perfectly done sausage patties. They will have all of the product at Lac Pelletier market tomorrow morning. You have to try the boutique bacon they make. Shop local.
