Did you know that bats are some of our farmers’ best friends? 🌱 These fascinating creatures help maintain healthy ecosystems and play an important role in agriculture.

This October, join us at the NWT Agrifood & You Discovery Centre nwtdiscoverycentre in Yellowknife for a month of exciting activities, hands-on learning, and fascinating discoveries about the bats that call the Northwest Territories home!

From creative crafts and pumpkin science to documentary screenings and special talks with a wildlife biologist, there’s something for everyone. Discover why bats matter, how they support our environment, and what we can do to protect them. 💚
