WULFS CHIZELED 6276N is a bull we are excited to have acquired with Andrew Ranches from the Wulf Cattle Opportunity Sale of 2026!

A powerful, sound structured bull with tremendous actual data where he ratios high within very large contemporaries caught our attention quickly. His 10 year old dam shows the maternal longevity and efficiency that backs him up.

Due to the timing of the sale and importing him he will catch the second cycle of our breeding season then head to Andrew Ranches in July for their breeding program.

Almost back to barn/quad garage following our 2026 open house and online bull sale.
Most of our cattle are out of sorts enough when they look into the barn let alone when the floor is covered in white shavings!
For the rest of the year the tote full of shavings will be sparingly used in the trailer and for extra traction in the calving chute.
In our last post I forgot to mention the great clipping job Levi Martin and helper delivered in early January to kick start our sale preparations. A superb blend of refining while still retaining the nature that our bulls naturally portray with their rugged, ranch raised roots.
Again we are humbled with all the encouraging comments from our fellow breeders, neighbors, bidders and buyers who have supported us through the years as this journey continues.
As the fat lady sings on this year's auction, we roll into calving in a few weeks and the cycle carries on...

🔥The most popular spot after taking a look at the 2026 offering was near the fire and warming up! While the snow and rain were short lived, we were still blessed with a refreshing breeze from the northwest. We certainly appreciate the hearty souls who bundled up and evaluated our bulls. 🥶
🐎With racehorse close out tomorrow night there is still plenty of opportunity to drop by and sort through the pens. Lois has plenty of snacks along with hot or cold beverages as you may wish.☕️🍺

🟪 New to the roster 🟪

When we set out to add a new heifer bull to the CSD Limousin lineup, Clarks Lawyer peaked our interest in a big way. Checking all the boxes phenotypically, including a masculine look , length, depth of rib and flank, and lots of base width. He combines lots of presence with putting up impressive numbers on paper. Lawyer was born at 79 pounds, weaned off to a 106 ratio, and a 102 yearling. Lawyer ranks in the top 50% or better in 13 of 16 traits; including a top 4% for CED, 4% BW, and 15% GEST. The cow family he stems from are known to be easy fleshing, heavy milking, consistent, and efficient females.
