These are Moringa seedlings to add to our farm.

Moringa is a called the miracle tree because of its health benefits as well as nutritional value for humans and animals.

By planting all these trees we hope to reduce feeding costs as well as boost animal health.

That’s why we’ve decided to grow part of our own feed at Yaya Farms. We’re planting covo and sweet potatoes — not just for the roots, but especially for the sweet potato leaves, which pigs absolutely love and benefit from.

Think Mixed Farming

When you own a piece of land for rarming, try mixed farming. It had the advantage of Efficient Resource Use & Recycling

Waste from the animals becomes an input for another. For Example in my case I use
Pig and Poultry manure to fertilise my garden and crops

Crop residues feed animals
This creates a closed-loop system with minimal waste and reduced input costs.

Mixed farming also allows farmers to earn from multiple sources—e.g., eggs, milk, meat, vegetables, grains—ensuring more stable and continuous cash flow throughout the year.
