About a year ago I sent some of our own wool to be sampled. I recently got this back and am super excited...I have already started a swatch!

This has been a big year on Little Nook Farm, we have registered as Australia's newest Romney sheep stud 🐑 and last week saw us attend our first show at Longford in Tasmania!
This year Ridgeside Romney stud made a come back to the show ring at Longford which was fantastic as it meant we had Australia's oldest and newest registered Romney breeders under one roof.
Ridgeside took out the show with a great representation of the breed and Little Nook got third place which was very exciting.
I would like to thank Andrew and for all their help and advice over the last couple of years as well as showing me how to trim the wool properly on the morning of show day! Well done and congratulations on your win, give me a couple of years and you won't win so easy 😉

This poor girl lost her baby last night, It was small cold and weak when I found it in the paddock. I have been trying to get her going for the last four days but lost the fight last night......heartbroken 😕
This morning I thought I might try giving this wee cutie a new coat and see if the mumma would adopt her, fingers crossed but tonight I think she found a new mum to go with her new coat....🥰

This girl is just an awesome mother she needed a wee hand this morning to get this monster 8.5kg girl out and loved her straight away! Delighted to see them up and about this afternoon

After a rough round of weather and having to warm up cold lambs it's great to see these little ones and their mates finally out of the shed......let's hope it continues
