Sometimes it’s not that your bakes aren’t good looking. Usually your lighting and camera quality is the issue.

Sometimes it could also be what’s showing as your background and not necessarily that your bakes lack anything.

This really hit home. Wishing you all the best Dear baker 💓

After battling with depression and anxiety for a while, masking it with a smile, I have come to the realisation that it is an unhealthy coping mechanism and does more harm than good. It has gotten to the point of struggling with a lot of things one would consider “normal”. With the work load of running a baking business alone with a variety of demands, it was definitely not easy getting by. Anxiety taught me that some battles are better fought head-on so that it can be put to rest entirely.

There’s a wide difference in audience on this Facebook account vs my TikTok and Instagram. I noticed that here, there are more bakers and business owners than customers. I will talk about the other platforms soon.

As for the following here, what would you like to see on this page? Perhaps, more business tips? Because most of us here are trying to run businesses.
I do get customers from here but it’s mostly baker to baker interaction.

This cake was so much bigger in person than it looks here. I made it for my brother’s 40th birthday party that took place recently.

It was a vanilla with chocolate and caramel. Covered with dark chocolate ganache first and the went in with the white chocolate buttercream ganache.

I just noticed that Facebook has this little eye 👁️ icon next to posts to indicate how many views a specific post, story or video has received.

It’s comforting honestly because even if a post has 1 like, it might actually have 100 views which is not all hope lost.

What are your Facebook engagement strategies?
