Welcome to Monroyal Cakes! Handmade and personalised custom cakes by Brenda Brenda was born in Mexico City.

From early on, Brendita had already gained insights into the world of gastronomy in her parents‘ Mexican restaurant. To compensate the overdose of chilaquiles, tacos and enchiladas she decided after highschool to take a more international direction by studying English literature. However, after a certain time she returned to her first love and left her English books for a chef hat to start her stu

dies at the «Colegio superior de gastronomia» in Mexico city. After her second year at the colegio she met the second love of her life, who shortly after trying her delicious desserts became her husband. Together with him she moved to his home country Switzerland and changed from the Colegio to the Culinary Institute in Lucerne to refine her abilities in the art of pastry to become a pastry chef who would work at hotels and restaurants in Switzerland and Italy. Today Brenda lives and works in Adliswil/ZH taking care of her four children: A girl named Mila, the boy Santiago, her baby «Monroyal Cakes», and her husband «Fredinko».
