Food, in all its divinity, is at once simple and infinitely complex.
The preps are never just about bringing ingredients together.
They are rituals, and food wisdom
carried across generations like prayers.
Each ingredient is a piece of a larger puzzle..
A humble note in a symphony,
each step in the process anchoring us in patience, presence, and anticipation.
And then, at last, the dish emerges,
not as mere sustenance, or just to tantalise our tastebuds,
but as an offering.
First to the deity, in gratitude and surrender.
Some may see it as ritual or superstition;
to me, it is the quietest act of devotion…
where nourishment begins with reverence.
