The President ... of Switzerland wore this cap to the football last week. Switzerland Great since 1291. Swiss absinthe has also been around for many years: since 1769 in fact. Van Gogh's masterpieces, including Café Terrace at Night, are now on show in Tokyo. Café Terrace at Night seemed to be lacking Van Gogh's favourite drink - absinthe - so we asked the waitress to serve two glasses with our compliments!
If you're in Tokyo, we recommend Bar Trench absinthe cocktails (see last picture), Bar Tram, and many other bars who serve quality absinthe the correct way!

Great to see some very interesting absinthes arriving in Vietnam! La Crème which is essentially absinthe eggnog, and 1935, barrel aged in French oak for six years (as well as many other fine absinthes) are now available at .chamber in Ho Chi Minh City.

Happy 173rd birthday, Vincent Van Gogh! These drinkers hope you had a great day! Van Gogh often included absinthe in his paintings but not, apparently, in this one. In fact this painting from 1890 represents the four ages of man and it seems appropriate that the drinkers would bid each other farewell after so long together!
