Expats Rejoice! Your favorite American food cravings are now a reality!
No one appreciates the value of a rich Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup or a cold can of A&W Root Beer quite like an American abroad. Andrea George, founder and CEO of My American Favorites moved from the United States to Lugano in 2013. As a member of the TASIS community and a very pregnant soon to be mother (with serious Cheetos cravings & a “sympathetic” husband), Andrea discovered just how much of a demand there was for American foods in Ticino. So, rather than loading her suitcase up with as many bags of Tollhouse chocolate chips and Aunt Jemima’s syrup on every trip home, she founded My American Favorites. Today, My American Favorites has reunited hundreds of homesick expats with their favorite comfort foods and guilty pleasures, bringing a little piece of “back home” to Switzerland.
