We’ve been taught to chase independence, perfection, and “having it all together” before commitment. But the strongest lives were built by two people becoming a team long before everything was perfect. Real love was never about fantasy — it was about building together.

We spend so much of our lives praying for things, only to become blind to them once they’re ours. Gratitude changes everything. Sometimes all it takes is stepping outside, taking a breath, and remembering how blessed we really are.

For most of my life, I’ve been obsessed with ancient history. As I got older, I stopped just reading about it—and started going to the places where it actually happened.

From Athens to Rome. Across islands in the Mediterranean. Through Lebanon, beneath the African sun, deep into the Arabian desert, and across France—I’ve walked through the echoes of the past.

And it changed how I see the world.

We live in one of the most peaceful times in human history, yet we act like it’s not enough. A world shaped by international law—built, ironically, in the shadow of the most destructive weapon ever created. It took the threat of total destruction to force peace.

And still, we forget.

Because when you walk through ruins, you don’t just see stone—you see people. Lives. Men rushing home to their families. Women laughing in markets. Dreams, fears, ambitions—just like ours.

All gone.

Everything they believed would last… didn’t.

History doesn’t repeat—but it rhymes.

We think our world is permanent. Our borders, our nations, our way of life. But nothing in history ever has been. Kingdoms rise and fall. Maps change. Always.

That’s what unsettles me most.

Not that things will change—but that we live like they won’t.

One day, we’ll be gone too. Just bones in the ground. Our stories forgotten, like those who once called these ruins home.

So maybe the question isn’t what we’re building—but whether we even understand how temporary it all is.

We argue about what matters today…

while ignoring what could redefine everything tomorrow.

Intelligence is shifting.
The question is... are we paying attention?

The word of the day is

Same money.
Different life.
A château in France… or a house in Dublin.
Let that sink in.
At some point you have to stop playing the same game —
and start asking better questions about where your future actually is.

I NEED PROOFREADERS.
For the past year and a half, I’ve been writing a book.
What started as scattered memories turned into 200+ pages of the most honest work I’ve ever done. I’ve edited it five times. Cut entire sections. Rewritten chapters. Sat with it. Walked away from it. Came back again.
And now… I finally feel ready for the final draft before publishing.
This book is my story.
It’s about a young lad chasing independence and losing everything in the process. It’s about addiction, homelessness, debt, broken relationships, smashed windows, courtrooms, panic attacks, and wandering the streets of Dublin at 3am pretending you’re fine.
It’s about Dorset Street — the chaos, the characters, the humour, the danger — and how a place can shape you while you’re slowly unravelling.
It’s about faith too. Wrestling with God. Running from Him. Hearing the words “you’re at a crossroads” and ignoring them. Trying to fill emptiness with drugs, parties, pride, and pretending you don’t need anyone.
It’s messy. It’s raw. It’s sometimes funny in the darkest ways. And it’s completely honest.
I’m looking for 10 avid readers who would be willing to read the manuscript and give thoughtful feedback before it goes to print.
There will be a short set of reflection questions afterwards — nothing heavy, just honest responses.
Anyone who completes it will be named in the back of the book in the Thank You section (real name or pseudonym — your choice).
If you love reading, if you care about story, and if you’d like to be part of bringing this book into the world…
Send me a message.

*Cover is prototype, anyone handy with graphics hit me up also*
