Pinot Noir 2023 – Chilean Patagonia
Produced at the southernmost tip of Chile, on the island of Chiloé, under distinctly cool conditions, this Pinot Noir reflects its place of origin. Summer temperatures rarely exceed 23 °C (73 °F). The vineyard is farmed without chemical inputs, and all work is carried out by hand. Yields naturally range between 15 and 20 hectoliters per hectare, with a planting density of 9,000 vines per hectare. The wine shows a classic ruby hue for Pinot Noir. The nose opens with aromas of morello cherry and wild strawberry, layered with spice notes and a delicate touch of cedar from barrel aging. On the palate, it is ample, with silky tannins. The overall balance is defined by moderate alcohol and natural acidity. At a time when climate change is driving alcohol levels higher in many wine regions, Chiloé’s climate provides conditions well suited to the production of great Pinot Noir.

Pinot Noir 2023 – Patagonia chilena
