Hoops 2024 - 92 puntos!! 🤩
“Guy Hooper and his family have been making small volumes of this hand-crafted wine since 2010, using grapes that grow around their house in the Maipo Valley. A blend of Petit Verdot, 13% Syrah, 10% Malbec and 5% Carmenère, it has violet and green herb aromas, nicely
textured tannin, a chalky undertone and bramble and blackberry fruit flavours.”

Vecino 2024 - 91 puntos!! 😎
“Vecino comes from vines owned by Guy Hooper’s neighbour – hence the name in Spanish – and is an assemblage of Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% each of Carmenère and Cabernet Franc. Aged in a couple of old barrels, it’s a floral, appealing, red-fruited blend with fine grained tannins and underlying zip and freshness.”

Es un excelente informe de unas 223 paginas que recorre Chile de norte a sur, este a oeste. Una lectura imprescindible si quieren entender que esta pasando en el mundo del vino chileno hoy en dia. Felicidades a Tim y Amanda y nos vemos pronto!!🍇❤️🍷

And 🥁DRUM ROLL🥁…the brand new HOOPS label (3.0) is ready!!!🥳it took a while longer than we anticipated but it was worth the wait (we hope you’ll agree!!)🤩

Just as our tiny family garden winery project evolves, so does our family. We are older and wiser (🤔) and the children keep growing and taking important life decisions. We are physically more and more distant, but always united and close knit. Each with our own personalities and imperfections, just like the “juice” inside the bottle🍷

…and last, but certainly by no means least, to round off the “new look” Hoops family here’s “MJ” .herreros María José, or simply “José” to her friends and family. Aka Mrs. Hoops!!🥰

It’s been a roller coaster ride of almost 30 years now, forming our beautiful family and growing our relationship together. Nobody is perfect, but we’re still together and enjoying life, with all its challenges and ups and downs!!❤️
