Many people always complain of doing all it takes to loose weight to avail. Keep in mind that your body will take more time to heal if your metabolism was extremely damaged before starting. That aside, these are some of the reasons why your weight loss journey might fail

HORMONAL IMBALANCES
Hormones support many vital functions within the body, including our ability to maintain muscle, lose body fat, and experience stress and hunger. Hormones that affects weight loss in women includes: estrogen and progesterone. These hormones helps to regulate appetite, eating behavior and metabolism. This explain why pregnant or lactating women find it difficult to control their appetite, eating habits and loose weight because these hormones are tempered with.

CHRONIC STRESS
Stress can have a significant impact on our bodies, including our weight. Chronic stress can lead to the release of the stress hormone cortisol, which can disrupt hormone levels and lead to weight gain, especially in the abdominal area.When we experience chronic stress, cortisol levels become excessively elevated, which can lead to unwanted symptoms such as:
Suppressed immune function
Increased appetite
Abdominal weight gain

POOR SLEEP QUALITY
It’s true: quality sleep is crucial for good health, including weight management. Poor sleep can disrupt hormone levels, leading to an increase in hunger and cravings, making it harder to lose weight.

11 TIPS TO HELP LOSS BELLY FAT

I realized a good number of us don’t just want to loose weight but want to focus more on belly fat. So here are 11 tips u can put into practice to loss belly fat

- eat soluble fibres like fruits, vegetables, oats, barley. Fibres prompt weight loss by giving you a feeling of satiety thereby making you eat less.
- ⁠Avoid food that contains transformed fats like butter, hot dogs, sausage, mayonnaise as it is one of the main source of abdominal (lower part of the belly) fats gain, heart diseases
- ⁠reduce your alcohol intake (if u we’re used to taking for example 5 bottles a week u may want to go down to 3 or 2 and so on) as alcohol contributes to lower belly fat
- ⁠Eat a high protein diet like meat, fish, eggs, beans etc
- ⁠Reduce your level of stress.Stress can make you gain belly fat by triggering the adrenal glands to produce cortisol, also known as the stress hormone. High cortisol increases your level of appetite and you know what happens when u eat much 😂😅😅
- ⁠Don’t eat a lot of surgery food. Sugar may contain fructose, which is linked to several chronic diseases when consumed in excess.It’s important to realize that more than refined sugar can lead to belly fat gain. Even natural sugars, such as real honey, should be used in moderation.
- ⁠Do aerobic exercise (cardio, sports)Aerobic exercise (cardio) is an effective way to improve your health and burn calories. (Jumping of rope is one of them )
- ⁠Reduce your intake of carbohydrates.Reducing your carb intake can be very beneficial for losing fat, including abdominal fat. In fact, low carb diets may cause belly fat loss in people with overweight.
- ⁠limit your intake of sugar sweetened beverages (drinks).Sugar-sweetened beverages are high in added sugars like fructose, which can contribute to belly fat.
- ⁠eat fatty fish like sardine every week. Fatty fish can be a nutritious addition to a balanced diet. They’re rich in high quality protein and omega-3 fats, which may offer protection against chronic disease.
- ⁠limit the consumption of fruit juice.Although fruit juice provides vitamins and minerals, it’s often just as high in sugar as soda and other sweetened beverages.

Loosing weight is good but going about it the right way is better❗️

You might end up losing yourself in your quest to loose weight and have that banging body by all means and at all cost.

Solving the problem of excess weight begins with identifying the cause of the problem because yes!, X and Y might have different reason as to why they both gained weight.

We could all scream to the top of our voices CONSISTENCY!! But remember we could consistently be doing the wrong thing!
