Guangzhou Coffee Expo - South China’s No.1 Coffee Show achieved overall satisfaction on 24 – 27 November, 2011! 7,000sq.meters of display, occupied by 200 booths, which was a nearly 30% increase from previous session, an audience volume of 25,684 were recorded. With exhibitors’ origins from 14 countries and regions, and 9 associations and chambers as global partners, it was an international coffee
campaign. The global industries chose Guangzhou as their gateway to China, as Guangzhou and its surrounding PRD area showcase the importance for coffee trade, distribution and consumption, given the largest group of China’s coffee roasters and importers dwelling. During the Expo, Special events as Intl’ Coffee Forum, Caffè Italia, Canton-Hong Kong -Macao Barista Competition created multiple opportunities as in business, networking and education. Concurrently held with Guangzhou Tea Expo, China’s largest of its kind, the perfect accompaniment to tea brought at least 5,000 additional visitors who are beverage buyers, dealers, restaurant- and hotel owners. To create more opportunities, the next session of Guangzhou Coffee Expo will last one more day from 22 to 26 November, 2012 with the first day only for professional visitors.
