This automotive paint shop used to send all its spent cleaning fluid off-site as hazardous waste.

With Plum Membrane’s filtration system, over 80% can be recovered, tested and blended for reuse—cutting the amount sent for disposal by around 80% and reducing fresh cleaning agent purchases.

Meet the **PEK-S Tubular Membrane**, developed for demanding industrial separation duties involving elevated temperatures, challenging pH conditions, and intensive cleaning requirements.

Key tested capabilities:

✓ **20% more effective membrane area** than Plum’s previous-generation module with the same outer diameter and length
✓ Backwash pressure tolerance **tested up to 4 bar**
✓ Temperature tolerance **tested up to 90°C**
✓ Under test conditions, **pH 0–14 at ambient temperature** and **pH 0–13 at 90°C**

These figures are test tolerance values, not guarantees for continuous operation. Final selection must consider the actual feed composition, temperature, pressure, exposure time, and cleaning protocol.
