If you’re after a dram that packs a serious punch, Douglas Laing has sorted us out with this new 2026 Limited Edition. It’s a cracking Islay blended malt, and looking at the specs, it’s a bit of a beast.

We’re talking a blend of Caol Ila, Bowmore, Ardbeg, and—wait for it—Port Ellen. It’s brimming with that classic coastal, tarry smoke we all love. Expect warm slabs of tangy peat on the nose, followed by hints of coffee, cedar, and a touch of chocolate. It finishes with notes of cut grass and heavy smoke.
