At Tianjin Dagang Xinquan, China’s earliest and most economically efficient 100,000‑ton‑per‑day membrane desalination benchmark, Proshare’s locally made PSI reverse‑osmosis membranes passed the 2025 performance acceptance and launched new units for 2026. The event marks a milestone: domestic high‑end membranes now fully replace imports in commercial 100,000‑ton‑scale plants, ushering in a new era of independent desalination technology.
