Grandmother Cacao
Ancel’s last 3 day training
🌿the class is from Friday 15th through Sunday 17th, from 10 am to 4pm (usually a little later the first day). I ask that everyone brings a vegan pot luck item to share for lunch 😊
My intention for the class is to introduce people to cacao as a grandmother, a teacher and mentor and ally in our work and our lives. We will sit with cacao trees, make chocolate from the beans, prepare different medicines from the tree, hear stories, histories and practices from the many peoples that worked with her. We will prepare different types of cacao drinks, both traditional and modern. There will be time for ritual, journaling, meditation and sharing. It is a beautiful class, a gathering of women wanting to deepen their connection to this beautiful being and share her gifts with the world.
I am an educator, ecotherapist and storyteller and have been working with cacao for 16 years. This time I’ll be joined with a dear friend and ritualist for some special transformative magic.
