After a career in wine in Bordeaux we, Natalia (Costa Rican) and Louis (French), moved to Santa Teresa to try and realize our dream of opening a neighborhood wine shop by the beach. It also helped us to understand what people like to drink in Santa Teresa. With this in mind, we started importing some of our favorite wines. As years went by, we continued to research, visit vinegrowers in France at
least once a year, taste and drink. After a passionate and thorough process of selection, each season we add a new batch of hand-picked gems directly from the vineyards. In 2020, the bar became a shop. In Tipsy, you will find our selection of direct imports as well as wines from other Costa Rican importers. You will also discover a carefully curated offer of spirits, including delicious mezcals, tequilas and much more. As a small family shop, we care a lot about your experience in Tipsy.
