Today was definitely the second one 😅 Heavy legs, no PB, and not the race I hoped for, but Alhamdulillah always. Still figuring things out after my Crohn’s diagnosis and grateful to be back on the start line.

First half marathon outside of a triathlon race 🏃‍♀️

Hamdullah, super proud of myself for this one. Sub 2 hours wasn’t easy, especially with how inconsistent my training has been lately because of my recent diagnosis with IBD, but we got it done 💃

The past few months have been a challenge physically and mentally, so this race meant a lot more to me than just a time on the clock. Feeling grateful to finally be getting back into the groove again, and even more excited for what’s coming next 👀

This was the BUCS 10 mile TT race! 🚴‍♀️

Training hasn’t looked the same lately as I’ve been struggling a bit with my health. But Alhamdulillah, we’re on the way back.

Rebuilding, refocusing, and ready to share the journey again. Super excited for the races to come!!

Little bites of deliciousness 🍫🌴 Seriously one of
my favorite recipes ever!

Ingredients:
- 15 large dates
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- Melted dark chocolate

Introductions:
1. Soak dates in hot water for 10 minutes
2. Add dates, peanut butter, vanilla, coconut oil, and salt to a food processor. Process until combined.
3. Add mixture to a container and freeze until solid.
4. Cut into bite-size squares. Dip in melted chocolate and top with a pinch of flaky salt.
5. Store in freezer and enjoy
