Mother's Day is celebrated to honor all mothers and express love and gratitude.

Most countries including, Curacao, celebrate Mothers Day on the second Sunday of May.

At Yogen Fruz Curacao we will celebrate Mother´s Day with Tulips due to the very special bonding between Holland and Canada, when during World War II, Princess Juliana fled to Canada. This country, thrue a special law, declared as Holland´s
Territory , Princess´Juliana´s house and the hospital, where her third daughter, Princess Margarita was born, This way, the newborn baby would not be excluded from the royal succesion because of being born in a foreign nation.

In gratitud to Canada for the generous gesture, once back in Holland, Princess Juliana sent as a gift thousands of tulip bulbs to Canada, and promised to do so yearly as long as she lived. This way, the tulips have become a simbol o frienship and gratitud between Canada and Holland, ever since. And Canada, where Yogen Fruz was born, has the most beautiful tulip gardens in America.
