🐎 Moonshine Ranch – Official Response
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to share their experience at Moonshine Ranch.
We understand that every person may have different expectations from a horse-riding experience, and we respect everyone’s right to share their opinion.
At the same time, we would like to clarify what Moonshine Ranch is and what our priorities are.
Moonshine Ranch is a working horse ranch and riding facility. It is not a playground or simply an entertainment venue. Horses are living animals and require respect, discipline, patience and proper handling.
For this reason, all visitors and riders are expected to listen to and follow the instructions of the owner and the riding instructor. These instructions are not given to make anyone uncomfortable or to spoil their experience. They are given because safety must always come first.
During a ride, maintaining the correct distance between horses, following the instructor’s directions and responding immediately to instructions are essential parts of responsible horse riding. Sometimes an instructor may need to speak firmly or give a direct command. This is because situations involving horses can change very quickly, and hesitation can create unnecessary risk.
We will never compromise the safety of our guests or the wellbeing of our horses simply to provide a more relaxed experience.
Our horses are part of our family. We care for them every day, and their health, condition and welfare are extremely important to us.
We also welcome constructive criticism and are always willing to listen and improve where necessary. However, we believe it is important that visitors understand that riding horses comes with responsibilities and rules.
Respect the horses. Listen to the instructor. Follow the safety rules.
That is how we can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Thank you to all our guests who understand and respect this.
