The philosophy of Atsas Farm is to use the discipline of agro-ecology design to create agricultural systems which have the diversity, stability and resilience of a natural ecosystem. Our company always strives towards the highest quality possible both in our final products and in our farming practices. Our main crop is the olive tree but as we are creating an environment to mimic a natural ecosyst

em, through careful observation of the land, we are growing many supportive species to increase biodiversity. Our farm is a “carbon sink” our plants and trees are taking atmospheric carbon and storing it where it belongs: in our soils! By building soil we are also increasing its capacity to retain water and provide the best nutrition to our trees. Not only we are directly fighting climate change by storing carbon but we are also building our tree’s resilience to its impact. Accounting all the steps of production and distribution when you purchase a liter of our oil you helped remove a minimum of 20kg of Carbon from the atmosphere.
