What is Takoyaki?

Let’s start with the name!

🐙 Tako = octopus
🔥 Yaki = cooked or grilled

So, Takoyaki literally means “cooked octopus”! 😋

Takoyaki is a popular Japanese street food made from a light, savory batter, with a piece of octopus inside, cooked into little round balls.

They’re made fresh and served hot —
crispy on the outside and soft & gooey inside! 🔥✨

Topped with our homemade Takoyaki sauce, mayo, bonito flakes and green seaweed… 🤤🇯🇵

We were so happy to meet you all and truly appreciate your support.

Also, we’re sorry to everyone who had to wait a long time — the strong wind caused some trouble with our cooker, and things didn’t go as smoothly as we hoped 💦

Everyone was so kind and patient, and it really made us feel that Otaku Day is the best 🫶✨
