Native Cypriot plants like Vitex agnus-castus do it all and don't get enough credit. Drought and heat tolerant, pollinator friendly, aromatic, medicinal, and ornamental.
These are making their way into some fancy floral arrangements and getting the attention they deserve.

The funny thing about Moluccella or Bells of Ireland is that with names like that you'd never guess it's actually native to the eastern Mediterranean. It does not come from the Moluccas or Ireland, but it is listed as a wild plant in my book of Cypriot flora. Anyway, what's left here will be our seed for next year. It has been a pleasure.
