It’s hot, summer really took over and Berliners are melting -Kombuchas SCOBY’s are having fun above 28°C and I must invite you again for this all-you-need-to-know about kombucha. It’s a 2h30 date - it’s fun, nerdy and funky and you will get lots of insights on tradition and scientific knowledge around fermentation and a chance to unlock your witchcraft by brewing with herbs - loooots of them. Beyond Kimchi! Whether it is your first date with Lactic Acid Bacteria or you need a mediation in your long term relationship with them I invite you to delve deeper in the wonders of this underwater world.
This is an introductory crash course to give you a basic understanding of how to start wild fermenting the world around you. We’ll start by playing with salt and vegetables, but I won’t just show you the sauerkraut route or pickled cucumbers. Brine, not to brine and other existential questions are very much welcome. I promise that by the end of the course your faith in microbes will be renewed. If that’s really the end of the world, at least in microbes we can trust. 🙏🏼🥒🌶️✊🏽
