A cake art installation by Mariam Shavgulidze & Uta Bekaia
When a cake meets art, storytelling, memory, and performance, it becomes something more.
Pastry chef Mariam Shavgulidze and Georgian multimedia artist Uta Bekaia come together to create My Mother’s Cake - an edible art installation inspired by a personal story, shaped by memory, and made to be shared.
At daia, during a beautiful Georgian dinner, we will create the installation live, right in front of you.
And the best part? You can eat the artwork.
Built from fluffy creams, crisp meringues, unexpected textures, flavors and sweet fragments of memory, My Mother’s Cake is a personal story told through the language of dessert.
